You have spoken now and that is important. In the Academy, in the other services, in high schools and universities, in places of work large and small, this same terrible dynamic plays out. As and educator I have a responsibility to ensure my school is a safe place to grow and learn for every student. I read the top three things kids in grades 11 and 12 said about the school and the 3 things they felt needed to be improved. Yes we can do better at spreading tests out, yes we can do better at making the lunch lines efficient and yes we can d better at ensuring kids have feedback quickly. But seeing kids say that being safe was something ley loved about the school made me proud but only for a moment but it is a job that is never done, always another step
