so often we attempt to shape events with the stories we tell about them. Make them fit like Cinderella’s step-sister forcing on the slipper. Making tales of patterns that exist only in our minds, seeing through the overlay of our desires, habits, and gr/need. When we could be being (as Pooh might say) we are so busy telling the world what is. I love this exploration of, as you say, “the forgotten sensations.”
