Reminds me of the story of the man who died in a flood after refusing all kinds of help by saying God would save him. He dies, gets to heaven and asks God why he had been abandoned, God's reply was that he had sent, the emergency services, he had sent the forecasters... All the early warners got called cracked or worse.
