I was in Puerto del Sol on Saturday. There was a demonstration in support of voting rights and the republic. An old man wandered along the edge of the crowd shouting about La Republica. Mostly people got their pictures taken with Mr. Bean or Sponge Bob. Police ringed the plaza looking hot and aloof, but i caught a few smiling at pretty girls. I had a pistachio cone and walked on.
