I read an article in the last few days and now cannot for the life of me remember where. The idea the author explored is that change does not come from the center, it comes from the fringes. At first, the ideas are seen as crazy, whacko, unrealistic, impossible. But, as time goes on, they gain credence, plausibility, they gain form and stature and finally begin to be accepted and understood. No one want to believe we are living the end-of-the-world movie. It doesn’t seem possible or real, and it is perhaps the most real deal going right now. Those who get it, see it everywhere. Those who don’t can’t see a thing. But, as in your experience, it won’t be long before many others have the wake up call that shakes their world to its very foundation. We live on a paradise of a world and we have allowed greed and fear to blind us.

What troubles me is that unlike you, many people do not have any connection with nature. Our fundamental disconnect with nature makes the situation even more difficult for many to understand.

Thank you for speaking up and speaking out so clearly.

Ben
