Even just a few years ago, talk of a real estate bubble with falling prices for high-end shorefront properties seemed to belong to another decade if not another century. But, with high tide flooding events increasing in frequency, high-end and mid to low-end properties are at risk now with insurance becoming problematic and values dropping. Investments that were intended to be for generations are now short term as shorelines erode and certainty becomes a thing of the past. The stories out of Australia are worse by orders of magnitude but it is coming soon to a neighborhood near you. Thanks for keeping such a clear eyed focus on the trends we should be talking about.
